| Al final del viaje de 2006, Mikel Rivero Linde, de Lasarte-Guipúzcoa, nos remitió la siguiente carta: “I didn’t want to come because I didn’t know anybody and I am only here because my parents wrote me down without telling me. But when you arrive you meet a lot of people and they are very nice and kind. You enjoy yourself so much that at the end you don’t want to leave. During the month there isn’t a moment that you get bored because you always have friends to meet and activities to do. You have classes from Monday to Friday but we feel that you improve your English more with your host family and with the friends you meet. It’s better than a holiday because you see the family life-style and you speak more English than in a hotel, and with the family you also feel more secure. By going to Jersey you experience a new country and new customs and culture. Jersey is English but it is very different to England because it is a mixture of cultures”. |
